OSHKOSH, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's basketball team fell to the #11-ranked University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Wednesday night in the Kolf Sports Center.
With the loss the Pioneers fall to 10-12 overall (4-7 WIAC) and the Titans improve to 19-3 overall (9-2 WIAC).
The Titans built a comfortable 17-point lead over the Pioneers by halftime. The Pioneers responded with a 14-3 run to start the third quarter to trim the lead to 39-33. That was the closest the Pioneers would get.
Sophomore Maiah Domask had a team high 11 points on 55 percent (5-of-9) shooting from the field and six rebounds. Junior Rachel Emendorfer had 10 points and led the defense with two steals. Junior Morgan Horstman also finished with 10 points on the night.
The Pioneers host University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 3 pm on Bo Ryan Court.
