Pioneer basketball teams gear up for Pediatric Cancer Awareness games

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Women's and Men's Basketball programs will team up Saturday, December 8 for Pediatric Cancer Awareness basketball games hosted in Williams Fieldhouse on Bo Ryan Court.  The women's team tips off at 3 p.m. against Loras College to be followed by the men's game vs. Central College at 5 p.m.  Tickets for the double header are for sale in advance at Letsgopioneers.com

First 1,000 fans through the door will receive a free crispy taco coupon curtesy of the local Platteville Taco Johns.

Each ticket is valid for both the women's and men's games.  Reserved side seats are $8 with General Admission tickets for sale for $8 (adult), $5 (seniors, 62 and older), and $5 (17 years and younger).

Halftime check presentations to the American Family Children's Hospital in Madison and the Palmer Wilson family will be made at halftime of the Men's game.  Check presentations will be presented by Northwestern Mutual and the Pioneer community. 

Pioneer Basketball Pediatric Cancer Awareness t-shirts will be for sale at the entrance to the games.  T-shirts are $18 and fans may pay cash or check.
