Volleyball - Defense - Katie Jones, Senior (Delavan, Wis./Delavan-Darien)- Middle Hitter

Jones totaled 27 blocks (1.59 per set) on the week while adding 41 kills (2.4 per set) with a .286 hitting percentage (41-15-91). Jones started the week with three blocks against Dubuque on Wednesday and three blocks against Albion on Friday. In a win over Kalamazoo, Jones had eight blocks and 10 kills (.350).  Jones had another eight blocks and hit .571 with 13 kills in the victory over Finlandia. Jones finished the weekend with five blocks and seven kills (.385) against Olivet.

Men's Soccer - Offense  Braxton Rottinghaus, Junior (La Porte City, Iowa/Union) - Forward

Braxton scored 4 goals in 3 games this week including the game winner vs Loras in Sunday's 3-2 win.

 

Men's Soccer - Defense - Tommy Bitter, Senior (Dubuque, Iowa/Hempstead) - Defender

Tommy played a vital role in the team's defense and offense the entire week. This included two shut outs in three games and a goal vs Loras in Sunday's 3-2 win.

 

Women's Cross Country - Kat Salis, Freshman (Sycamore, Ill./Sycamore)

Salis ran a personal best time by nearly a minute and 40 seconds at the UW-Oshkosh Open at UW-Whitewater on Friday, Oct. 19. Completing her first year of cross country, Salis ran 32:06.24 for the 6,000m course. 

Men's Cross Country - Chris East, Freshman (Chilton, Wis./Chilton)

East ran a personal best time of 29:53.15 at the UW-Oshkosh Open hosted at UW-Whitewater on Friday, Oct. 19. East broke under 30:00 for the first time, finishing as the Pioneer's sixth man at the race, to round off his first season of cross country at UW-Platteville.
