Men's Cross Country -  Kyle Herbrand, Junior, (Dane, Wis./Sauk Prairie) - Herbrand won the UW-Oshkosh Open by a 19-second margin and a time of 27:05. Herbrand held back during the first few miles before pressing in the middle portion of the race. He passed and pulled away from the leader in the fourth mile and cruised to the finish. This was Herbrand's first collegiate cross country win.

For his efforts Herbrand was named the WIAC Athlete of the Week.

After a late surge by the Blugolds to bring the score to 28-14, Johnson grabbed an 18-yard touchdown to push the Pioneers to a 34-14 win. The 225 receiving yards is the second most in UW-Platteville history, and is Johnson's third 150+ yard game this season.
